Real culture. We recently paid a visit to New York and got inspired by the roots of hip-hop. If you didn't know, hip-hop started developing in South Bronx with MCs toasting over Jamaican beats. Over the past decades, it's not only developed as a genre of music, but as a cultural movement as a whole that has influenced everyone around the world. We thought it made sense to combine a couple of 80's, 90's and contemporary hip-hop tracks to show the progression of the culture. We're only touching the surface, but needed to make sure you know the roots in order to appreciate what it's all about. Enjoy.
